Thought Field Therapy

Thought Field Therapy (TFT), was developed by an American Psychologist, Dr. Roger Callahan, more than 25 years ago. He discovered that tapping on energy meridian points   on the upper body and hands in specific sequences, known as algorithms, rapidly eliminated all types of emotional distress in minutes.

What happens in a TFT session?

The treatment involves thinking about your problem (you do not have to discuss the problem in all it's detail should you not wish to as long as the therapist has sufficient information to know whether they are treating a phobia, grief, addiction etc.) and then tapping gently on specific meridian points in a sequence known as an algorithm.

You are asked to rate your level of discomfort relating to your problem on a scale of 1 to 10; 10 being the most discomfort. Effective treatment of the problem reduces the score to 1.

Many thousands of therapists have now been trained in Callahan Techniques™. These include medical doctors, psychologists and psychotherapists.

Most recently Paul McKenna, well known hypnotherapist and NLP Practitioner, has been seen on GMTV using TFT to treat phobias and addictions with enormous success.

The success rate for TFT is between 80-97% depending on the level of training the practitioner has.

Algorithm trained practitioners           80%
Diagnostically trained practitioners     90-95%
VT trained practitioners                     97%

Is TFT safe?

Yes. TFT is completely safe, non-invasive and drug-free.

How long does the treatment last?

In most cases a lifetime although if the problem does return it is usually due to an Individual Energy Toxin (IET) which causes the treatment to be reversed. Further investigations by a diagnostically or VT trained practitioner will identify the toxin or toxins which can then be dealt with and then the treatment will hold unless the toxin is come in contact with again.

No other treatment presently available, conventional or complementary, can claim the same success rate, speed and completeness.
